mansfield needs something really creative.
when was the last time we did something that didn't have the tired generic corporate budweiser, coors, university, oldies, or religion tags all over them?
how about having a huge free rail grafitti fest on the square without those big swarmy corporate umbilicals attached?
give teams a 50 foot square canvass for 20 bucks and turn real creativity loose??
give the winners an art scholarship or perhaps a year's supply of krylon or dupont???
turn loose our true creative artists and musicians.
more art and music comes from the streets and tattoo parlors than any prestigious university.
better yet, turn the artists loose on some of mansfield's dilapidated houses.
tatoos for our nursing home seniors might renew their flagging spirits.
i found this collection of spray cans on a recent tour of the town's grafitti center.
mansfield has creative passionate artists, and they do it for free!!!!!!
give them freedom; give them life, give them exposure!!!!!
