house where nobody lives

this once lovely victorian home sits alone on a hill at the bottom of walnut hill and west 5th street.

owned by a prominent and historically sensitive local citizen, there is still hope.

a living author once lived in the house as a small girl.

it was built in the 1840s era and was grand indeed.

this town and area certainly have  more pressing needs, like jobs, jobs, jobs, flood control, and urban planning.

mansfield is very wealthy in folks who honor, and love, if not treasure her past, and are eager to give to polish one of her most beautiful facets, a house where nobody lives.
