on june 2, 2009, a great fog settled over our area, but it had been coming for quite some time....

spain's  public debt burden as a % of GDP is 69%.

this country's  public debt vs. GDP is 96%.

pointing fingers at spain's economy is an interesting exercise.

our fullblown unemployment would seem to be 14 or 15%.

our debt ceiling is about 15 trillion $.

our annual gdp is about 15 trillion $.

this country has $13 trillion in personal mortgage debt.

this country has $870 billion in student load debt.

we  in this country have $15 trillion in other personal debt.

u.s. total debt is $56 trillion.

that is a real number

the states total debt is $1.1 trillion.

total municipal debt is &1.7 trillion.

we are still in the fog, and stuck in the mud, too.

there's no way this will end well.
