about 20 years ago drinking establishments were closed during election hours and beer and wine sales were suspended.
the sale of alcohol during hours when the polls are open in ohio is now permitted, as if the voter judgment of voters to pick one gold digger over another really matters.
my overheated answering machine will now cool down from all the robocalls and surveys.
selfserving colorful political ads, which i never read, will no longer grace my mailbox.
the hours and pages of political commentary analyzing today's elections will lie unopened as well.
