Dodged the Bullet!
I thought the flood cycle was 50 years. Then it became 20 years, now 3 years. Come on!
Fortunately someone was watching out for us. The flood of 2007 we were 3-4 foot under water on the inside of the Parrot Head and 6-7 feet on the patio. This time, even though we were much more prepared, it filled the crawl space to the floor and stopped. We started getting ready at 4:30 AM, the water came in at 7:30 and we had thinks back together by 6:00 PM. Didn't loose a bottle although with all the shuffling I don't know how accurate our inventory is. We will be open this weekend!
