Mohican State Park’s Covered Bridge, one of the park's most popular attractions, is scheduled to be renovated • On Monday, August 2, 2010 the bridge will be temporarily closed to the public and vehicle traffic for 45 days or until all the work is completed • Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) are working together closely to allow the necessary repairs to the bridge deck and the immediate area of the Covered Bridge with minimal interruption to the popular tourist attraction and vicinity • Detour signs will be placed on roadways to direct the public around the closed bridge section and enter at the North Park entrance (posted 7/25/2010)
