i highly recommend small town murder songs-- a beautifully acted, beautifully filmed character study of a midwest born again christian small town police chief with a relentless past, and a murder, with stunning poignant music, now on dvd. his struggles, redemption, and past are well documented, and are integral to solving a young beauty's murder. the characters are so vividly written and acted that you feel you know them and have met them in our community.
by the countryside and population. this film could have easily been made just north in ashland county.
it's a tiny tiny film, lasting but 75 minutes but a powerful one.
